OK I checked on these settings:

Delaying is not enabled
Reject all but Whitelisted is not checked
I reset the ports to put ASSP back in the mix, and sent another email 
from the non-whitelisted GMail account at about 10:45PM
Now, at midnight, maillog.txt continues to build, looking very normal 
except for the absence of any entry for the unwhitelisted address.

Should I post a portion of maillog.text? Or send it as an attachment?
