ASSP was a little sluggish, but nothing necessarily so bad to make me
think something was seriously wrong.  It only made me think that maybe
an overly greedy Regular Expression was firing.  In this situation, the
only slow-down was within Perl/ASSP - the system was otherwise
unaffected.  My outbound queue filled only because ASSP was not
accepting connections to pass along to my outbound relay.
