Hi All, I'm looking for some feedback to see if my idea is worthwhile or not. I'm ready to go into live test mode on my server with ASSP. I know - that sounds like a bit of an oxymoron. I mean I have finally done all my dev tests, and am ready to put ASSP on my live server, but in test mode. The issue I'm running into, however, is that I have a significant number of users and domains on the system, and I know for a fact that the majority will not want to help train ASSP to sort spam and not spam.
I realize I can do it manually by sifting through the /spam & /notspam directories, but that is going to take me forever. So instead, what I am thinking could be a useful feature would be a ProcessOnly option in which I could specify only the users / domains that I want to be using ASSP while it gets trained. Pretty much would be the exact opposite of NoProcessing. Originally I was thinking of using NoProcessing, but I am realizing that it is extremely difficult to list everyone that I would want to exclude. I figure it would simply be easier to only allow a subset. Would something like this make sense? Would this be a useful feature for the community, or should I just hack it into my own code for my own needs? Thanks for the feedback!
