Hi,

I'm scanning my logs and noticing a problem I am having here with my
outgoing mail ending up in the /notspam directory. My server is getting hit
with a lot of spam, hence the need for ASSP. My outgoing path is set up as:

MTA -> ASSP -> Relay server -> Internet.

The problem I have is that some of my users are just aliases for other
address on other servers. For example, bob @mydomain.com is an alias that
points to bob @gmail.com. So all email (including spam) that comes into my
MTA for bob @mydomain.com gets redirected to bob @gmail.com. So any spam
that bob is presently getting is also getting sent to gmail.com.

Since all outgoing mail seems to get saved to the /notspam directory, my
corpus is getting very badly contaminated with this redirected spam.

Currently ASSP isn't scanning / handling incoming mail yet (I need to give
my users time to reconfigure their clients) - I don't know if that affects
this issue or not.

Once ASSP becomes fully active, I know that this issue should disappear as
incoming spam will be limited, but what do I do in the meantime to help
prevent corrupting the /notspam directory?

Thanks!

Eric
