LOL...yes, that's exactly what I was looking for. I spent all this
morning confused and looking back over PB and all the ASSP settings,
until I finally re-read the PB wiki to find out that PB is exactly what
I thought--a score that applies to the server.

I'm still interested in the individual e-mail score--it just makes sense
to me. Virtually all the spam I get fail multiple tests, primarily
DNSBL and then either SURBL or spam bombs. And, frankly, without the
latter two, what good would spam be if the spammer didn't include either
a link or an embedded picture containing hidden text--someway so he can
collect his money? On the other hand, the false positives I see only
fail one test, usually a temporary DNSBL. DNSBL is a huge probability
of spam, but it's not always right. Thus, I want to rely heavily on it,
but I don't want to make it a flat out pass/fail.

Take some real world examples. I almost lost an important e-mail
because the Time Warner mail servers for all San Antonio (satx.rr.com)
are currently blacklisted. I was just lucky that the RBL server didn't
respond in time. My father's law firm recently got blacklisted because
it sent an NDR to a UCEProtect spam trap (and hence why I'm evaluating
anti-spam proxies that can reject at the SMTP level without NDRs).

I think SpamAssassin does individual e-mail scores like what I'm talking
about, but I haven't evaluated that one yet. SA install on Windows
looks like a nightmare. If only I could get individual e-mail scores
implemented on ASSP... ;)
