Are you saying that perl-5.8.7 and the modules that are needed by ASSP, along 
with the dependencies for those modules, should be in the ASSP folder ?  As 
part of the downloaded zip/tar file for ASSP ?

Wouldn't this increase the size of ASSP way beyond the 300K it currently is (as 
per someone else in this email thread) ?
