Thats a pretty wild claim to make straight off, technically ASSP has 
been around longer than DSPAM from what I see.

Smarter? More advanced? Show me proof, or to quote the almighty 
wikipedia *Citation Needed.

Aside from the per user Bayesian i don't see the benefit.(and per user 
Bayesian is not all that useful unless you are an ISP or webhost IMHO)

We already rely on external Perl modules and some people aren't exactly 
pleased with that (myself included in one instance) I can't see relying 
on a completely 3rd party product for Bayesian filtering a wise choice, 
I for one would NOT appreciate the extra work(read: one more thing that 
  can break) involved.

I think you'll hear the same thing from Fritz but as for me I'll tell 
you this, if you want this integration feel free to write the code 
yourself but I don't foresee anyone rushing out to take on this project.

Also were you paid to write that message? It seems eerily like an
