FYI
Testing via http://www.info-techs.com/eicar.shtml shows the eicar.com test file
hitting ASSP and subsequently not detecting anything out of the ordinary.

Any suggestions?

Are other people seeing ClamAV detect Eicar successfully?

It's funny, the only tests that even show hitting ASSP are:
eicarpasswd.zip (zip compressed eicar.com with password)
and
eicarpasswdocr.zip (zip compressed eicar.com with password in image file)

The others don't show as hitting at all so I wonder if they're getting snagged
somewhere along the line before me (no sign at my firewall either)

Is there a different - safe - way to test ClamAV?

Is it a simple text test, or a zipped attachment?
