Hi everyone, I've been using assp for about 10 months but Im new to this
list. Congratulations for a great piece of software! It works very nicely.
I was using assp 1.3.5 and about a week ago assp started restarting very
often, maybe once every 20 mins. After a restart it quickly goes to about
40% cpu usage.
I uninstalled assp 1.3.5, then installed clean assp 1.3.9 but the problem
persists. I reinstalled exim. The maillog file does not show anything
special, assp just fails silently and the watchdog starts it up again. In
the meantime SMTP does not respond, and my clients are getting very itchy
about outlook's "server error" msgs.
Ive done some searching on this list but haven't come upon anything that
could help me out, forgive me if I missed some useful post. I did find one
Fritz's post about doing a "wrapper" in order to see more information but I
would need more directions on how to do the modification on the pl file.
Here are my specs:
RHEL4 on two dual-core xeon processors, 2gig ram.
Cpanel, latest release version
Assp scoring mode
Alternate port enabled.
Clamav enabled, with watchdog
Exim mta
Csf firewall (iptables)
Assp deluxe cpanel wrapper (http://www.grscripts.com)
