I did reinstall the perl modules by using Gabriel's assp deluxe scripts when
I installed assp 1.3.9 from scratch. Haven't done it by hand though (And I
don't know how at the moment, would have to investigate)

@Fritz:

The last lines of the log just before the restarted I pasted are:

I may add that Assp deluxe's developer ssh'd into the box to do some
diagnostics and he suggested a kernel upgrade (As the root of the problem
wasn't clear). I can't risk that as this is my main production server, and I
would have to do it only as last resort.

Last but not least, the restarts occur mainly during the day. At night there
is some restarting as you can see by the previous logs, but not very often,
so assp failures are related to MTA usage. I attach the exim daily mailstat
graph as generated by Munin (Note that I *think* that this application only
analyses exim and not assp throughput - but im not sure). This is my linux
build:

Linux xxx.com 2.6.9-55.0.2.ELsmp #1 SMP Tue Jun 12 17:59:08 EDT 2007 i686
i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Thanks for your help,

.pd
