You are correct that 465 is no longer officially SMTPS. Go ahead and
disable your 465.
However, for a while IANA did assign 465 to SMTPS and it was widely
used that way - as a direct equivalent to 25 but with SSL. For those
that still need this behavior, it is now available in ASSP.
