ASSP v 1.5.

*"submission -> 587ASSP -> 226/MTA -> remote MTA or local delivery"*

My MTA, postfix, requires clients to start STARTTLS if they are coming in on
587 this way their password won't be sent in the clear however, it seems to
me that ASSP *doesn't "STARTTLS"* when talking to the MTA which in truns
refuses the connection. Thats why I get " error while sending mail
responded 5.7.0 must issue a starttls command first "
So 587 ASSP -> 226/MTA can not happen / never happens in my situation.
Is there away to make ASSP STARTTLS when connecting to the MTA on 587 ?

Thanks
