Hi all,

We have a custumer with a huge spam problem. It seems they get ~30.000
emails per day and ~80-85 percent of it is spam.
Right now they're using Exchange 2007 with Forefront as a spam filter, but
too much spam gets through and it seems Forefront is off it's limits.

My boss wants us to compare more approaches to spam filtering:
 - installing some additional software to Exchange 2007 or ISA 2006 (the
current similar soluiton just failed)
 - Putting down an UTM box with builtin spamfiltering (I don't trust these
UTMs... we need a strong spamfiltering and I don't think these UTMs have
one)
 - putting down a spam filtering appliance (We had a Barracuda appliance for
two weeks for testing - I was not convinced)
 - installing ubuntu with ASSP on a separate box or virtual server (I like
that one)

Can you give me some hint or ideas? I need to convince my boss...

Thanks
Greybear
