heh... it all depends from how you set up things; either use a shorter
expiry for traps which will STILL help you in case of heavily targeted
addresses (and wich will avoid having a too big list) *or* move the
whole to a database (even a BerkeleyDB one) so you won't need
to "load" the whole blurb in memory; in either case the trap *has*
its "raison d'etre" imHo

Shorten the lifetime; bad and heavy targeted addresses will still
be cached; good ones will expire; at that point whenever you'll
need to create a new address on the server, just tell to the user
that the address will be active in "x hours" or, if that's unacceptable
just disable the "make traps" function; all in all there's that option
too

I am relaxed and I was relaxed; the point is that some people finds
the penaltytrap feature a good one, others don't, but since it's there
AND there's an option to disable it; it will just be a matter of setting
it to "disabled", it will still be there in case one will change mind;
that's
the point I'm trying to make; since the feature is there and since it
can
be disabled (if so desired) why removing it ? Makes no sense to me
