ASSP running 1.7.1.5 with one nic in private network in front of exchange everything works fine.
But any attempt to send an email to [email protected] returns: The following recipient(s) could not be reached: '[email protected]' on 5/23/2010 6:25 PM The destination server for this recipient could not be found in Domain Name Service (DNS). Please verify the email address and retry. If that fails, contact your administrator. <mail.doallengroup.com #5.4.0> my ASSP settings: EmailBlockReport = asspblock EmailBlockReportDomain = assp.local Do I need to put assp.local in the ASSP setting Relaying/localdomains? I assume the missing part is in exchange(2003) exchange must be authoritative or responsible for the domain assp.local, right? Is this an exchange issue or DNS issue? Running MS DNS on AD domain. in Server Manager i have only the default smtp connector set for the * entire address space. Inserting assp.local as a secondary address space doesnt work either. Its as if Exchange is picking up the domain name assp.local and kicking it out. shouldnt it be passing it through to assp on the way out? -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/howto-use-blockreport-in-exchange-tp28652363p28652363.html Sent from the assp-user mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Assp-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/assp-user
