Let's say your local domain is "example.com", now setup a child zone in your private (LAN) DNS named "assp.example.com" and enter an MX record in this zone pointing to the ASSP IP address; at this point, to request a blockreport or in any case to use the email interface you will need to send messages adressed to @assp.example.com so, the block report request would go to [email protected] at this point your exchange will consider the message as "external" and forward it to the MX for the target domain which, as configured above will be the ASSP IP, so ASSP will receive the requests and process them as needed > I assume the missing part is in exchange(2003) > exchange must be authoritative or responsible for the domain > assp.local, right? No, exchange should know ZILCH about such a domain and should consider it an "external" domain ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Assp-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/assp-user
