That is even more unfortunate, I was not aware of such. I surely do not wish 
such for Thomas anytime soon! But we are all mortal, and our mortality can 
come at any time. Why its good for others to be able to do what we can, or be 
able to take over in anyone's absence. I was watching an interview with Linus 
were he talked about his mortality and the Linux kernel/community. Plans in 
place already so won't really matter if he passes, other than it being a loss 
to us all.

My belated condolences to anyone in Fritz's family who survived him. Though 
doubt they will ever see this...

I wasn't a huge fan of Fritz development style, but he did further ASSP allot. 
Added tons of features. I was and am thankful for his efforts, though 
frustrating at times. Its good his work lives on beyond him. Something I 
mentioned in other posts.
