Has anyone used voipjet for termination? It seems to work great...Call yourself using voipjet. Can you hear the tones at both ends? Enable the extension 500(digium test call) and 600(echo test) in your * server. Using a local hardware or sofware sip device can you reach those extensions?
the only problem I have is... only the FIRST dtmf tone goes through..
any subsequent DTMF tones don't go through... =\ Voipjet has yet to
respond to any of my e-mails.
I have cordless phone handsets that send one short dtmf tone regardless of how long the key is pressed. I can use those phones to call a DID and get to my * server but can't dial any extensions. It could be the phone or it could be my config. I know it is not the provider. If I switch to the base speakerphone and keypad everything works well. I don't have to deliberately hold the base keys down any longer than I normally would. I have even tried to make my keypresses as short as possible and * still gets them correct. So first use phones that generate dtmf as long as the key is held. I even use softphones that will do this for me when I hold down the mouse button over the keypad.
I'm just giving you all this info as an example of troubleshooting that sometimes should be done before contacting the provider.
