Immediate goal: Asterisk based predictive dialer for small outbound call
center.
Existing equipment is a Strata VIe connected to 6 Centrex POTS lines and
8 extensions (need to get another MSTU for the other 8 extensions).
Deadline: Yesterday. We are looking to get this done before Monday Nov
21st.
Location: Huntington Beach, California
There are at least two possibilities I can see. Other scenarios welcome.
1. Put an asterisk server between the Strata phone system and the
Centrex lines with three TDM400P cards and work around the existing
phone system.
2. Scrap the old system and setup VOIP phones for the 16 internal
extensions.
My client has put a strong preference on option number one above, but
can be reasoned with if benefits can be shown for option two.
