They are exceptional good at indoor and outdoor. It is definitely not design to be left outdoor under any circumstances since it is still a piece of electronic equipment.
But the external antenna gives the extra boost to picking up signal at difficult places. As long as you can pick up signal with a normal mobile. You will able to pick up signal on this box.
