'Red Hat' is a registered trademark, just as is 'Asterisk'. In addition, there is no 'program' called 'Red Hat', so this is comparing apples and oranges. There is a program called 'Asterisk', but the fact that the source code for that program is distributed under the GPLv2 has no bearing on the usage of the trademark. This is also the case with MySQL and other programs that are distributed under the GPLv2. -- Kevin P.
