Dave, did you ever figure out why the last digit was dropping? I am having the same problem right now even with the fixes suggested to you..
I am trying to add the following to my extensions.conf:
exten => _1650XXXXXXX,1,Dial,Zap/1/${EXTEN}
with debug on for the Zap/2-1 line (the developer's kit) I see all digits dialed but
