You can use the Manager interface with the Originate command to do that. I think you can get back a call handle with the FastOriginate variant. The handle can be used to call Hangup to cancel the call.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll take a look at that, because if I get that part working, I won't really need ICD except for future, more esoteric requirements ;-)
