This afternoon I used the list of NPAs (Area Codes) at <URL:http://docs.nanpa.com/cgi-bin/npa_reports/nanpa?function=list_npa_geo_number> and requested the XML dump for each NPA from Telcodata.us, then compressed the tar file of all of them. FYI, I rate-limited wget and put a "sleep" in the shell loop so as not to abuse their network's generosity. If someone wants the entire thing, I've temporarily left it at <URL:http://thecomplex.com/npanxx_info.tar.gz>. I figured that NPAs change infrequently enough to warrant caching this info with the CDR web interface, rather than calling it from some remote web database. rm ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Roderick Montgomery [EMAIL PROTECTED] <URL:http://thecomplex.com/> the fool stands only to fall, but the wise trip on grace...
