There does appear to have been a version 3.<something> firmware with half finished a buggy T.38 implementation. None of the earlier or later versions include it. I have not seen a manual which mentions it. There are release notes which mention it, but when you look carefully they are generic notes and the T.38 part does not apply to the PAP2T.
