To do over SIP or IAX will depend on a few things, codec and DID
provider. I'm going to guess that you are using G711, which should work
fine. If you using G729 I doubt you'll be getting fax to work, and
probably your provider will send the fax as T38. If this is the case
your looking at a digital fax board or getting the delicate t38modem
software to work with HylaFax.

its good to add ringing(3) in your incomming dial rule so that it has
