Where is this second box? Is it on the same switch, or is it somewhere
on the Internet? DTMF problems seem to be mostly caused by jitter
between the 6 messages. If any arrive out of order (i.e. if the 6
packets arrive as start, end, start, end, start end) then the DTMF
will be interpreted as 3 of the same digit.

This rarely happens on a LAN since the jitter is usually very low.
This was verified with Asterisk 1.2.1 some time ago by creating a very
jittery network with some software. However, I have not yet tested
with the newest versions of Asterisk, but I'm not aware of any real
fix for the problem.

Are you saying you're getting, or not getting, DTMF problems with the
latest SVN 1.2 trunk? And this is between two latest SVN 1.2 boxes, or
one older box and one updated box?

Leif.
