Hey, I have yet to install Asterisk on OS X but it should be almost the same as installing it on anything else *nix based. Ask the questions you have and we will see if we can answer them.
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/index.php?page=Asterisk+MacOSX+Support The above page on the wiki has lots of information about installing Asterisk on OS X. There is no PCI card support yet in OS X, but its being worked on says the wiki. If you need PCI hardware you could run Yellow Dog or Debian / Ubuntu on your PPC hardware. The link for Sun-Tel is http://www.sunrise-tel.com for any others wanting to know. They offer some GUI tools for Asterisk on OS X as well as packaged Asterisk installs it seems. Hi there, I'm quite new to this, and need some guidance. Does anyone have experience setting-up Mac OS X and Asterisk? I have checked the Sun- Tel and Astmaster.net sites and still have a bunch of questions. I'd appreciate any help getting my home-office set-up.
