Thanks for all your comments.  I didn't think that the situation could be quite 
so bad, especially with Asterisk.  So why would he say that his programming 
group had to do $35000 worth of custom programming to get a PRI working 
in Halifax NS?  Would that be to overcome a defect in the Televantage 
switch when someone tried and install in Canada?  If so, it seems that the 
preliminary work is done.
