As I said in other mail, try Zing. They have towers in Loretto and
Tottenham, the latter in New Tec and the former near parts of it.
I've heard of them, I actually had a site survey by them, didnt come
right to the house, sat at the corner of the two lanes coming up to the
house, held out a box, and drove away. Incidentally he was right along
a set of traintracks and a tall forest. I've requested another site
survey, that was over 2 months ago and I havent seen them yet.
Not to mention you never manage to talk to someone when you call.
I look out my front window, I can see SPS, "Nissin" and HONDA (Both
plants) just across the field (not to mention other company's
compounds), I have line of sight to the water tower in Alliston, not to
mention a number of other 'towers' for cellular coverage.
I even called ultrafastwireless by doctor computer logik in Barrie, he
wants me to pay to have 2 men come out for a site survey (that would run
over $100 at his rates)
Satellite? Cost, and if I wanna use it for VOIP... well, we won't go
there..
