Ok thank you, now how do I connect the Mediatrix to my asterisk, after I
make the  mgcp.conf changes. right now the Mediatrix sits directly between
the modem and my router then my asterisk box is connected to the router
along with the other computers.

modem >> Mediatrix >> router >> .......

Last time I looked into this was almost two years ago and at that time
asterisk could not be used as an MGCP client.  It will allow you to connect
your MGCP hardware to asterisk (which I've done and works well).
