Hi,

I apologise if this question has already been posed and answered on this list but I was unable to find anything in recent posts.

I want to set up a home Asterisk system that offers VOIP/POTS integration and the many various perks that are default with Asterisk e.g. voicemail to email, etc. I have a used PC that I can dedicate to this.

My question is this. Am I better off buying a Digium Wildcard with one FXS and one FXO or would an ATA device (SIPURA or other fine brand) be better. In my case, better relates to both flexibility of purpose and ease of setup.

Could some generous soul lay out the pros and cons or point me to a resource that does?

Many thanks in advance... Steve
