Yeah, the preview versions are slow to boot. But so is a Blackberry.
Power my 7290 off and takes like two minutes, I think it's longer than
an OM. The 2nd gen Neo1973 from OpenMoko will be a 400MHz CPU instead of
a 266, which should help the power up time. With all such devices,
booting up is expected to be infrequent (the 2nd gen will have a larger
battery!).
