This comes up periodically.  There was a long thread about this
several months back with a discussion of hardware requirements etc.
(Check the archives for all the details)

The short answer is that it's been considered and it's doable, we just
need people to do it, and maybe a wireless mic or two if we want to
get fancy)

I've recorded one session on video with little success, lighting was
poor.  I know a few have been done with audio and slide integration, I
think they're linked from the website.

In my estimation, the number one thing that's required is someone to
volunteer to put in the time to head up the project.  It requires
someone to record, and someone to post process the audio.  These don't
have to be the same person, but someone has to coordinate if it's
going to happen consistently.

Credit goes to Blaine, Alex and anyone else who has contributed to the
recordings we have so far.
