I've managed to reduce my problems with my new Asterisk/Freepbx setup to
one (that I know of) and I'm wondering about basic troubleshooting
techniques for Asterisk problems. My problem is with dialing from one
extension to another - when I give it an extension number,for example,
120, it connects and rings, but then I can't hear anything. When I give
it *120 it goes right through to voicemail. Dialing out works
fine, dialing in works as well, when you give it an extension
number it rings through to it and you can hear the call.
I'm not really sure where to start working the problem, so I thought I'd
ask about that.
