Good luck getting your final problem(s) ironed out and let us know if we can

My problem boiled down to a typo in my iptables config. I had typed 1000:2000 instead of 10000:20000 to open up the ports for the RTP protocol. A lot of posted problems with no sound seemed to be related to RTP issues so I went back and grepped the logs on rtp and found 'full:[Apr 23 12:16:03] WARNING[22932] rtp.c: Unable to set TOS to 184' and checked things out from rtp.conf on in. I also found an excellent article on SIP at http://dev2dev.bea.com/pub/a/2005/09/introduction-sip-part-1.html
