Hi Andrew, Alex and all,

A few months ago, I paid the $50 to get FreePhoneLine working with asterisk
(v1.4.11 at the time). I never did get it working.

Their tech people told me that I could use asterisk with it it I wanted to,
but that (at that time, anyway) no one had been able to do so. They said they
would help as much as they could, but that if I couldn't get it working, the
$50 was non-refundable. Well, I spend more hours than I want to admit, trying
to get asterisk to register with FreePhoneLine, to no avail. I spent several
hours on the phone with different of their tech support staff, who were
pleasant, but unable to resolve the problems.

I got pretty annoyed with it and had VISA cancel the charge. I never heard
anything more from FreePhoneLine.

My bottom line: Don't waste your time and money, unless they have changed
their story and assure you that it can be made to work with asterisk... and
then... caveat emptor.
