I know it is late but still might help. I have been using Wind Mobile since just over a month now. I had two calls dropped in this time. Couple of calls with static sounds making it hard to understand. Coverage is OK for the places I am but they do have no or limited coverage in Woodbridge and part of Brampton (Near Brampton hospital). I do not get good speed for data near my home (Islington & Finch) mostly around 1.5mb down; 2-2.5mb near my work in Mississauga but I was able to clock just over 4.5Mbps at times. I understand and can feel that they had been continually updating coverage and they network.
For the price, I think the service is great and the problems are going away very fast. I am sticking with Wind for two reasons... 1. Save my money (great deal that I have) 2. Support Wind and help them give hard time to the bigger 3 and break their monopoly.
