Windmobile had a 50% off day for a $15 plan which allowed unlimited international SMS and 150 monthly minutes (I can't confirm unlimited SMS; was told by someone who has the plan) which came to $7.5/month. Of course you can't go wrong with that price but two people I know more than 50% of the time are unreachable (service unavailable) when I call them. Cell phone is becoming like bad VoIP connection :-) with the new carriers.
