Barry,

        I meant to point this out before - what does your ZAPMODS variable in 
rc.conf look like?  Make sure that you have on - otherwise, AstLinux 
will load ztdummy first and zaptel will use that timer.  It looks like 
that could be what is going on here...

        Then again, if you aren't using AstLinux :), just make sure that 
ztdummy doesn't load before wctdm.
