for those not following the previous thread with curl and astlinux

I have successfully installed curl as a package within astlinux, with a
lot of help from people on this list.

However, I am now stuck ..

I can make (!) the make program run the asterisk menuselect system so
that I can customise my asterisk configuration. My problem is that
func_curl.so is XXX'd out, because I presume the asterisk config
programs can't find curl-config.

However, curl-config is definitely part of the astlinux package, because
it is in /usr/bin and is runnable when I boot my astlinux box.

I cannot find where to tell asterisk to look for curl-config (I am
somewhat confused because /usr/bin is the default place for curl).

Can anyone shed any light on this ? Thanks.

My other question, (which I am looking at right now) is can I give a
fixed IP address to the astlinux box ?

Julian
