Chris, The last few months, I have been working on an alternate web interface (altweb) for AstLinux. The latest trunk makes this the default gui, so don't install it again if it is already in your build. I have received very constructive feedback from the readers here. So, please try it out. Note the altweb gui uses the directory /mnt/kd/rc.conf.d/ for the configs instead of a single /mnt/kd/rc.conf file. The documentation below explains things a bit.
