Howdy Joseph,

I don't see the kd getting that much use that would make that an issue. Most
of the traffic that it sees (voicemails) will still take 7-10 years to wear
out the CF card. My horizon is 5 years, at which time it would probably be a
good time to spring for at least a CF card and software upgrade. It's also
my understanding that the USB stick has similar limitations, and I don't
want that sticking (pun intended) out the end of the box for someone to grab
and potentially break off.

I have been lurking in here a while as I plan to migrate to a 5501 as well.
What are any caveats to using the CF as the kd? I thought that was bad as
the
writes were high enough to wear it out? Should it not be on a usb stick?
