Hmm.. been having this problem for a wee while now, once I rebooted into the Via machine, I got this message,
"fdisk: WARNING: rereading partition table failed, kernel still uses old table: device or resource busy" This seem to have created the partitions regardless. -----Original Message----- From: Lonnie Abelbeck [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, 21 October 2008 10:23 AM To: AstLinux Users Mailing List Subject: Re: [Astlinux-users] 0.6.1 Clara, I have my net5501's setup exactly as Ron's. Assuming a SanDisk CF card of 1G, or larger (2G ultra II my current favorite) I set the unionfs partition to 128M, and the rest of the card to /mnt/kd/. I don't need anywhere near the 128M for unionfs, but its a reasonable value. --- fdisk session --- # fdisk /dev/hda n p 2 <RETURN> +128M n p 3 <RETURN> <RETURN> w q --- fdisk session --- Lonnie On Oct 20, 2008, at 5:55 PM, Clara Chan wrote: > Ron, > > What sizes are you making your hda2 and hda3?
