Hmm.. been having this problem for a wee while now, once I rebooted into the
Via machine, I got this message,

"fdisk: WARNING: rereading partition table failed, kernel still uses old table:
device or resource busy"

This seem to have created the partitions regardless.

Clara,

I have my net5501's setup exactly as Ron's.

Assuming a SanDisk CF card of 1G, or larger (2G ultra II my current
favorite) I set the unionfs partition to 128M, and the rest of the
card to /mnt/kd/. I don't need anywhere near the 128M for unionfs,
but its a reasonable value.

--- fdisk session ---
# fdisk /dev/hda

<RETURN>
+128M

<RETURN>
<RETURN>
w

--- fdisk session ---
