Have 0.6.2 (sourceforge image) running on SanDisk now. Will bring it up to
newer svn shortly. In the meantime...
In looking at my current configuration I found that I had a line...
PERSISTLOG="no"

yet syslog is going to my flash card, so I guess ="no" is not equivalent to
omitting the statement completely (which I verified on the new clean
install).

Also, can you explain the interaction between this statement and
SYSLOGHOST="ip.ip.ip.ip"
will one override the other or can I get both local and remote sysloging ?


Finally... on examining the source to asterisk_gui, it is not as easy as I
thought to redirect its writes to a temp location. The writes are used to
capture output from system commands that need to be accessible from the
client side javascript... so needs to be under the path served by asterisk's
httpd.   Makes the decision to uses server-side script (php) in Lonnie's
astlinux gui look pretty smart.
