I'll admit ignorance with respect to Sangoma hardware, but what happens if you modprobe the appropriate module to load the device before running wancfg? That should create the necessary device nodes via udev. Note that I may be way off base here since I don't have a Sangoma card. I'm sure someone else does have one and could respond with a more definitive answer. Philip? I know you have one of their ADSL cards, but I'm assuming configuration would be similar.
