If it occurs again I will check whether resetting cable modem is all that is
required. My resolv.conf points to 127.0.0.1 as nameserver. There should
have been no problem resolving the URLs for my VoIP providers... the system
had been up for days and local DNS should have caches the IP addresses? Also
doesn't explain why my local extensions became unreachable.
