I know it is not Astlinux related but I was wondering if any of you experience
this issue.
I run my Soekris net4801 on Comcast broadband and once in a while I find all my
VOIP providers "UNREACHABLE" when I do a "sip show peers"
I recognize that my broadband can go down once in a while but the asterisk
should reconnect back to me 3 VOIP providers... All 3 of them are unreachable
and I can see in the logs trying to connect back. I tried the reload and tried
to stop and restart the asterisk service in /etc/init.d/asterisk "stop | start"
but won't do it.
Rebooting seems to always do it for me and have everything get back online. I
don't have any weird firewall rules on my Linsys router running Tomato firmware.
Is just kind of weird if you ask me....
Meanwhile I wrote a quick crude script and put it on the crontab to reboot my
Soekris box when the VoIP service is unreachable....

#!/bin/sh
asterisk -rx "sip show peers" | grep teliax |grep OK|wc -l > /tmp/log
VAR=`cat /tmp/log| awk {'print $1}'`
if [ "$VAR" != "1" ]
then
/sbin/reboot
exit;
fi

Any ideas what's going one here guys?

Thank much....
