Hi Tod, I've used the PAP2T's myself, and I think some of them support T.38, and others do not. Linksys makes another ATA called the SPA-3102, which looks and acts pretty much identical to the PAP2T, but works with T.38. I've got a bunch of these in the field and they're rock-solid. I don't actually use the T.38 feature as much anymore, but it worked great when I needed it.
To verify if your device supports T.38, you should see in the web interface, under 'Audio Configuration in Voice (advanced)' about 10 different setttings for 'FAX', and specifically 'FAX Enable T38'. If this setting isn't there, your device doesn't support it. On a side note, when I was first experimenting with these, Asterisk T.38 pass through wasn't in a pretty state, so I installed Callweaver, which does pass-through, as well as send/receive pretty well. Asterisk has probably caught up at this point, but I haven't had a reason to change yet. YMMV.
