I would like to use the Digium Skype For Asterisk channel driver but it seems
that because Astlinux is compiled using uClibc that is not possible as part of
the skype package is a binary compiled against glibc. Will Astlinux compile
using glibc ?
If it will not compile what would you suggest my options are?
Am I perhaps using the wrong distribution, what I need is a linux/Asterisk
distribution that is optimised for Asterisk on inexpensive hardware such as a
Mini-ITX for home use or small business use running on a flash card to remove
the need for a noisy, unreliable hard drive. I'm not interested in trying to
squeeze asterisk onto a broadband router or anything adventurous like that, but
I do need to be able to use the skype channel. If Astlinux is not the right
thing to be using can anyone suggest something that will run on a CF card but
let me use Skype as well ?
Thanks
Darren
